Gene Colin is chairman and chief executive officer of Ferguson Construction, Inc. of Seattle. A native of New York, he joined Ferguson Construction in 1967 as a project engineer, and rose through the company to his current position.

Mr. Colin formerly has served as chair of the Washington State Building Code Council and the Higher Education Coordinating Board; and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Pacific Medical Centers, Vice Chair of the Board of the South Seattle Community College Foundation and the Chair of the Associated General Contractors of Washington Government Affairs Council.
