Educational Opportunity Grant

The Educational Opportunity Grant (EOG) program provides $2,500 grants to encourage financially needy students to complete a bachelor’s degree. Students must be Washington residents, have already earned an associate of arts or sciences degree or junior class standing, and be “placebound.”

To be considered placebound, students must be unable to continue their education – without the assistance of this grant – because of family or work commitments, health concerns, financial need or other similar factors.

 

Students can use their Educational Opportunity Grants

 Art Institute of Seattle

   Seattle Pacific University

 Bastyr University

   Seattle University

 Central Washington University

   University of Puget Sound

 Cornish College of the Arts

   University of Washington

 Eastern Washington University

   Walla Walla College

 The Evergreen State College

   Washington State University

 Gonzaga University

   Western Washington University

 Heritage University

   Whitman College

 Pacific Lutheran University

   Whitworth University
