Child Care Grants

Substitute House Bill 1128, Section 611(9) from 2007 appropriated $75,000 for FY 2008 and $75,000 for FY 2009 to address the need for high quality, accessible, and affordable child care for students at Washington’s public baccalaureate institutions.

RCW 28B.135 authorizes the Higher Education Coordinating Board to award grants to institutions on a competitive basis to address this need.
