Board will consider budget proposals at July meeting

The next regular meeting will be held July 21 & 22 at the Talaris Conference Center in Seattle. Agenda items will include several new degree program proposals and budget presentations from Washington's public four-year institutions.

New minimum college admissions standards

Freshman high school students who enroll in 2008 will need to meet new college admission requirements that go into effect in 2012. New science requirements could affect 11th grade students in 2008 as well. A new, two-page summary of the requirements provides an overview for students and parents.
