Financial Aid

The state of Washington has a longstanding commitment to keeping public higher education affordable for its students and their families by providing financial assistance to those who cannot otherwise afford to go to college.

The Higher Education Coordinating Board administrators the state's student financial aid programs. We collect and analyze data, evaluate the state and federally funded SFA programs, and make recommendations to the Legislature.
