Academic Guidance and Planning System (Academic GPS)

State Board for Community and Technical Colleges are proposing, with the support of the state’s baccalaureate and research institutions, a new Academic Guidance and Planning System that will make it easier for all students to complete their degree and certificate programs.  Read More»

Major-Related Programs (MRPs)

The MRPs are based on the current Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) and Associate of Science-Transfer (AS-T) associate degrees, which allow students to transfer a "package" of credits, eliminating the need to evaluate each course on a transcript. Students who complete the DTA have completed all lower-division general education requirements and are well-prepared to enter a four-year college or university at the junior level.

The MRP takes the direct transfer agreement one step further by specifying the prerequisite coursework that will provide the best preparation for entry into certain competitive majors.
